Wood Exterior Shutters

We use only the highest grade kiln-dried Western Red Cedar, Spanish Cedar and Honduran Mahogany when building our wood shutters.  All of our shutters are constructed with mortise and tenon-peg joinery.  Mortise and tenon joinery produces one of the strongest joints in woodworking and is time tested.

Azek Exterior Shutters 

At Hardie Boys we pride ourselves in providing our customers with products which will endure the conditions and elements of the sub-tropical South Florida climate.  It was with this in mind that we developed our line of custom AZEK cellular PVC Shutters. 

     AZEK is a logical alternative to wood when manufacturing exterior shutters.  AZEK's durability is one of it's most attractive qualities.  It is impervious to water and insects, will not split or check like wood, it comes with a 25 year warranty and it still has the workablility of wood.  It is this durability combined with superior workability that makes it the ideal material for fabricating exterior shutters.
